Bomleny, 96, of Chillicothe formerly of Bradford, passed away on February 12, 2025, at the Arc at Chillicothe in Chillicothe, IL. Maxine was born on January 28, 1929 in Bradford the daughter of Thomas and Marjorie (Ligget) Scott. She married Billy "Bill" Bomleny on February 18, 1950 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bradford. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2012. Maxine worked at Bradford High School as the cook from 1978 until her retirement in 1988. She was a longtime member of the Altar and Rosary at St. John Baptist Catholic Church as well as a member of the church. Maxine was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Bradford. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and bowling. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.
